ISITEP “VIP protection service during a European summit in Brussels” Demo - Brussels 21/22 September 2016

The trial aims to demonstrate the benefits of using the ISITEP mission oriented framework to manage the police activities of typical case of “international visit mission”. A European summit in Brussels is taken as reference, where the visited country has to manage foreign delegations converging to a venue by different routes.

DAY 1: ISITEP “VIP protection service during a European summit in Brussels” Demo

Demonstration of the added value of using international radio communications for the police management of an international event

Where:
Venue: POLIS Center (RAC) 202A, Rue Royale, 1000 Brussels.

11:30 – Demo starts (Farmer demonstration and VIP Fr escorting – part 1)

13:00 – departure by bus to the police Communication and Information Center in Brussels (CIC BRU) 8, Fritz Toussaint, 1050 Bruxelles.
13:30 – Demo suite (VIP Fr escorting – part 2, VIP Fi escorting, VIP Dk escorting, VIP Lu escorting, VIP Nl escorting)

DAY 2: ISITEP WP 7.5 Workshop

Execution of some plain scenarios (FTX) demonstrating the operational added value of the ISI for the international police cooperation
Focus on the related technical/functional radio procedures.
